The ACN group research facility at DiSC consists of different analytical instrumentations. Regarding mass spectrometry, they include the coupled setup with Gas Cromatography (GC/MS), high resolution instruments coupled with High Pressure Liquid Cromatography (HPLC/MS) and an ionic chromatography (IC) system, and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP).
A wide range of molecular systems can be investigated, including elements and metals speciation, small molecules, volatile compounds.
The facility also provides external services to industry for trace analysis of compounds in complex matrices, where possible.
