Graduates! During the recent winter graduation sessions, three students from our group successfully obtained their Master\u2019s degrees with excellent results. Their thesis projects addressed key topics in structural biology that are central to our research activities, spanning the structural characterization of Mpro, Cyclophilin D and aspartate dehydrogenase. Our activity, titled \u201cSotto la lente di un microscopio ai raggi X: dalla struttura delle proteine alle applicazioni biomediche\u201d, introduced visitors to the world of protein structure determination by X-ray diffraction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>26-26\/09\/2025<\/strong>. <strong>Prof. Gabriele Giachin<\/strong> attended the training course \u201cEssentials of Doctoral Supervision\u201d at the University of Padua &#8211; Beato Pellegrino Campus, led by Dr. Pirjo Nikander from Tampere University, Finland. The event, co-organized by <strong>Prof. Stefano Mammi<\/strong>, brought together colleagues, former students, and collaborators who shared scientific and personal memories of Prof. Mario Mammi\u2019s fundamental contributions to chemical and biomolecular research. The event, co-organized by <strong>Prof. Stefano Mammi<\/strong>, featured scientific and personal tributes from colleagues and former students, including Enzo Menna, Giacomo Saielli, and Federico Rastrelli. On March 1st, 2025, the TV program Mi Manda Rai Tre aired a special episode dedicated to the issue of honey adulteration. As part of the investigation, the <strong>Department of Chemical Science<\/strong>s at the University of Padua contributed with its expertise in <strong>Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy<\/strong>, thanks to the work led by <strong>Prof. Elisabetta Schievano<\/strong>.
