Bioorganic Chemistry Research Group Description
We apply organic chemistry to biomolecules. We synthesize and study peptides for a variety of applications, including wellness and sustainability. We perform organic reactions in biologically relevant environments. We link biomolecules to textiles, nanoparticles or resins, creating new materials. We study the conformation of peptides thoroughly via spectroscopic techniques, such as Circular Dischroism and 2D-NMR
